These virtual groups are kept small to increase comfort and participation. Groups are led by a variety of facilitators, including Dietitians, Therapists, and others.

Binge eating is stigmatized and often misunderstood. This group is an intensive dive into strategies to deal with binge eating. This group meets for two consecutive weeks. We then take a few weeks to practise what we learn and meet again a few weeks later.

Join Alyssa Walsh, Certified Canadian Counsellor and person with lived experience, for a five week skills group on emotional regulation.
Learn about the basics of feelings and emotions: what are they, how do they happen, and their function
Explore themes of overwhelm and avoidance
Look at the socio-cultural influences that disconnect us from our emotions
Alyssa will share some of her favourite grounding and coping skills, and will support participants to build up their own “toolbox” of their favourites.
Through activities, education, and conversation, you can expect to get to know your own emotions a little bit better, have a few more tools to support yourself, and learn about emotional regulation both in general and in relation to disordered eating.
