Skills for Recovery Groups

Our groups are designed to support recovery with deep dives into specific topics. Learn, connect with others, and develop skills and tools.

These virtual groups are kept small to increase comfort and participation. Groups are led by a variety of facilitators, including dietitians, therapists, and others. Subsidies are available so that cost is not a barrier for anyone.

Body Kindness

Turning down the volume on body image distress

This five-week group series is for anyone curious about building a more grounded, compassionate relationship with their body. Together, we’ll unpack the influences behind body image distress: our own internal beliefs, our relationships and the systems and culture around us. We will explore strategies for reconnecting with our bodes and lean into ways to treat our bodies with compassion and kindness.

Body Kindness is led by Heather Baglole, RCT-C of Under Current Counselling.

This group meets Mondays from November 17 – December 15 at 7:00 pm Atlantic time (6:00 pm Eastern time).

Cost: sliding scale: $75 – $150

This group is open to anyone 16+ living in Canada.
