Peer Support

Connecting with others who understand your experience can be incredibly helpful.

Our trained Peer Supporters draw on their experience with eating disorder recovery, providing non-judgmental encouragement and support through our groups and individual mentoring.

All our Peer Support programs are free. A diagnosis or referral is not needed. Whether you have been living with an eating disorder, or are concerned about your relationship with food, eating and/or your body, we are here for you.

To access these programs and other resources, head to BodyPeaceCanada.ca/peer-support.

Peer Support Groups

Ages 17+

Our peer support groups are welcoming, pro-recovery spaces to share strategies and challenges in a supportive environment. These virtual groups are facilitated by our trained Peer Mentors. Register once, then join whenever you’d like.

The Young Adult Group (ages 17-25) meets on Wednesdays at 8:00 pm Atlantic Time.

The Adult Group (ages 18+) meets on Thursdays at 7:00 pm Atlantic Time.

The 40+ Group (ages 40+) meets on Tuesdays at 8:00 pm Atlantic Time.

The Trans+ Group (Ages 17+) meets on Thursdays at 8:00 pm Atlantic Time.

Individual Mentoring

(Ages 14+)

Connect with someone who has been there. We will match you with a trained Peer Mentor for one-on-one recovery support. Meet on your terms, go at your own pace, and explore what is important to you.
