Monthly donors are the core of Eating Disorders Nova Scotia. Your regular financial commitment to our mission provides us with the resources to plan for the future, ensuring that our programs are there when people need them the most. By paying it forward, Heroes for Hope are investing in long-term supports for individuals and families living with eating disorders, building a future where no one faces an eating disorder alone.
Joining Heroes for Hope is easy on your budget, is charged directly to your credit card on the same day every month and you can make changes to your recurring gift at any time.
Heroes for Hope make a positive impact every day!
Hear what some of our program participants are saying:
“As a person new on the journey, I so appreciate having a safe place with understanding folks. I feel free to be myself. That is big.”
“I enjoyed multiple aspects [of the workshop], but the thing I found most helpful were the facilitators. They were very compassionate, and engaging, but it was hugely helpful that they are also eating disorder survivors. Their true understanding of what it’s like to have an ED is what made this group stand out from other forms of ED care and treatment I have received.”
“Knowing that there are others like me, who are struggling, and some who are in recovery, is extremely supportive. Seeing members who have conquered their battle, hearing other’s struggles, and sharing each other’s wins gives me hope that recovery is possible.”
