For the one in three Canadians at risk for an eating disorder, the workplace can be a challenging environment. Things like weight loss challenges, body shaming, diet talk, and policing food choices can be incredibly harmful.
Eating Disorders Nova Scotia has been discussing diet culture, body image challenges, and how we talk about food and bodies for over two decades. We consistently hear about the stresses of eating disorders recovery in the workplace.
We are here to support you and your team learn more about creating a workplace that supports mental health and eating disorders sensitivity.
Our educators have extensive experience presenting a variety of learning opportunities and leading insightful discussions with groups. We will work with you to create a tailored learning experience that will enhance employee morale, ease discomfort and make the workplace better for all.
